Client Background

A major provider of customer experience (CX) services with almost 1,500 employees, Five9 was outsurcing its verifications of employment and income (VOIEs) to a large major provider. The company also faced unique challenges due to their complex compensation structures and the multi-job functions many of their employees held, requiring frequent manual intervention by HR.

Problem

The tech company’s existing verification provider could not effectively handle the intricacies of their compensation structure and multi-role employees. Only a few compensation categories were offered, which resulted in HR talking inbound calls and clarifying the reports for both commercial and government verifiers. Additionally, the current vendor used a file-feed integration, extracting employee data from the HRIS every pay period, whether or not a verification request was made. This method required constant manual oversight from both HR and IT, and any changes to the compensation structure within the HRIS system often broke the file-feed, causing further workload. Their outsourced solution required significant internal support.

Solution
